Red Hill Gallery invites you to ‘The Collective’ featuring 8 female artists. I love the word ‘Collective’ because it signals strength, diversity, and even support in numbers, and here we have a collective of women artists who share a key ingredient. A love of art and painting.
Some of them are ” old hands” at this – have been painting and exhibiting for years, while others step into this forum for the very first time and sometimes these steps need a little courage, but I am sure this cohort will be well supported and looked after and indeed encouraged.
This exhibition is an eruption of colour and creativity – from flowers in vases and exotic cacti, to jacarandas and poincianas blooming in Brisbane streets, animals, and interior scenes. Each artist has expressed their vision with freshness and individuality.
‘The Collective’ celebrates both discovery and growth – a vibrant showcase of artists finding their voices and sharing them with us all.
