Graeme is perhaps best known for his award-winning television show, Colour in Your Life, which chronicles the techniques and personalities of artists from around the globe to promote creativity and a love of art. The show premiered in 2010, and as of 2019, it is in its 20th season.
Graeme will Zoom in to talk with a strictly limited number of guests at Red Hill Gallery next week, along with others joining us online from around the country. Don’t miss this candid behind-the-scenes conversation about nature, travel and, of course, colour.
Graeme last exhibited at Red Hill Gallery in 2017 and we are proud to welcome him back. We are currently featuring some of Graeme’s latest work in the gallery, reflecting influences of realism, expressionism and surrealism.

Graeme’s paintings have been purchased by art collectors and celebrities, including the former U.S. President Bill Clinton.
Originally from New South Wales, Graeme left a promising career as a paramedic when he was a young man to attain his pilot’s licence and travel the globe. And that he did – more than 20 times over, living in five countries and constantly seeking subjects to paint.
With a passion for wildlife, nature and natural forms, Graeme started creating art from the local flora and fauna seen during his travels. His lifelong interest in birds resulted in his renowned illustrations for the book The Atlas of Parrots, which is still featured in the Natural History Museums of London, New York and Paris.
Once referred to as a “Master Artist” by U.S. Art magazine, Graeme received the Order of Australia (OAM) for service to the visual arts in 2017.
He created the award-winning TV show Colour in Your Life and has now recorded over 250 episodes featuring artists and supporting their career progression. The program is now available online and has almost 100,000 subscribers.
