margin-left: 10px;\"><a name=\"fb_share\" type=\"icon_link\" share_url=\"https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/?p=704\" href=\"http:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sharer.php\">Share<\/a><\/div><div><script src=\"http:\/\/static.ak.fbcdn.net\/connect.php\/js\/FB.Share\" type=\"text\/javascript\"><\/script><\/div><p>The opening night of Red Hill Gallery\u2019s current exhibition \u201c<a href=\"http:\/\/www.redhillgallery.com.au\/JamieBoyd2012.html\" target=\"_blank\">Jamie Boyd\u2019s Family Dynasty <\/a>\u201d received impressive comments and overwhelming interest from the guests.\u00a0 The rainy weather did not deter gallery goers as the space soon filled with an eclectic mix of people from the Brisbane art scene, including the well known director and head curator of the gallery Margaret Campbell-Ryder,\u00a0artist Todd Whisson and\u00a0a number of judiciary, medical professionals and business executives from the pointy end of town.<\/p>\n<p>While sipping on French champagne and enjoying the light refreshments many of the guests were overwhelmingly impressed by the contextual background provided by a commercial gallery.\u00a0 With never before seen works by Emma Minnie Boyd (1858-1936), Merric Boyd (1888-1959) and Arthur Boyd (1920-1999) on loan to the gallery from the Boyd family archives. \u00a0One gallery goer commented \u201cto be able to see the five generations of the Boyd family in the same room is an impressive feat and really drives home the extraordinary history and talent within the Boyd family, as well as providing a poignant reminder of the importance of this family within Australia\u2019s art history.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Ashleigh Clarke<\/em><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/?attachment_id=705\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-705\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-705\" title=\"Boyd and Whisson\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/bOYDES.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"639\" height=\"306\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/bOYDES.jpg 760w, https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/06\/bOYDES-300x143.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 639px) 100vw, 639px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<div class=\"al2fb_like_button\"><div id=\"fb-root\"><\/div><script type=\"text\/javascript\">\n(function(d, s, id) {\n  var js, fjs = d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];\n  if (d.getElementById(id)) return;\n  js = d.createElement(s);
