To this day I only have nine toes.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\"><strong>AC:\u00a0<span class=\"s3\" style=\"color: #000000;\">How do you find your inspiration?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">TW:\u00a0<span class=\"s5\">I try\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">to say something different\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">about my experiences, but haven\u2019t been able to feel before.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\"><strong>AC:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><span class=\"s3\" style=\"color: #000000;\">You have a distinct personal style, how would you describe it?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">\u00a0TW:\u00a0<span class=\"s5\">As a <a title=\"Beginning of Plein Air Painting\" href=\"http:\/\/www.metmuseum.org\/toah\/hd\/lafr\/hd_lafr.htm\" target=\"_blank\">plein air<\/a> artist I tend to\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">paint a\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">l<\/span><span class=\"s5\">oose natural feel which is\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">s<\/span><span class=\"s5\">imple<\/span><span class=\"s5\">\u00a0and\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">straight forward<\/span><span class=\"s5\">.<br \/>\n<img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-3451\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ToddWhisson02.jpg\" alt=\"Todd Whisson\" width=\"760\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ToddWhisson02.jpg 760w, https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/05\/ToddWhisson02-300x118.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/span><strong>AC:<\/strong>\u00a0<strong><span class=\"s3\" style=\"color: #000000;\">You have successfully painted for a number of years before going to university, could you tell us what motivated you to attend?<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">\u00a0TW:\u00a0<span class=\"s5\">I just wanted\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">to paint more about how I felt about a subject. University has guided me to capture a unique essence of the emotion\u00a0<\/span><span class=\"s5\">I want to express<\/span><span class=\"s5\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"s2\">Todd&#8217;s work will be on display alongside two other male artists, painter <a title=\"Colin Passmore Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.redhillgallery.com.au\/ColinPassmore.html\" target=\"_blank\">Colin Passmore<\/a> and ceramicist <a title=\"Bill Powell Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.redhillgallery.com.au\/BillPowell.html\" target=\"_blank\">Bill Powell<\/a>, in the upcoming combined exhibition at <a title=\"RHG Home Page\" href=\"http:\/\/www.redhillgallery.com.au\/index.html\" target=\"_blank\">Red Hill Gallery<\/a>, 61 Musgrave Road Red Hill on the 12 June.
