It was in 1978 he discovered his interest in wildlife and became a member of the <a title=\"The Wildlife Art Society of Australasia\" href=\"http:\/\/www.wildlifeartsociety.com\" target=\"_blank\">Wildlife Art Society <\/a>of Australasia and in the very next year won his first award for the best painting. The rest is history.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/PM2.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3031\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/PM2.jpg\" alt=\"Paul Margocsy\" width=\"760\" height=\"333\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/PM2.jpg 760w, https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/PM2-300x131.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/a>With his unique photographic memory, Paul is able to observe animals in their natural environment and then create incredible life like paintings from those observations.<\/p>\n<p>A book launch later, he was then privileged to have an <a title=\"Australia Post\" href=\"http:\/\/auspost.com.au\" target=\"_blank\">Australia Post <\/a>commission in 1991 for a series of stamps. The year of 1994 was full of surprises when the <a title=\"United Nations\" href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/en\" target=\"_blank\">United Nations <\/a>commissioned him to paint a series of endangered wildlife. In 2006 Paul became the first Australian wildlife artist to have a solo exhibition in <a title=\"Hong Kong\" href=\"http:\/\/www.discoverhongkong.com\" target=\"_blank\">Hong Kong<\/a>. He released his second book entitled <a title=\"Away With The Birds\" href=\"http:\/\/www.birdingaustralia.com.au\" target=\"_blank\">\u201cAway With The Birds<\/a>\u201d in 2009.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/PM03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-3032\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/PM03.jpg\" alt=\"Paul Margocsy\" width=\"760\" height=\"278\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/PM03.jpg 760w, https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/08\/PM03-300x109.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Paul has been chosen twice to exhibit at the &#8220;<a title=\"Birds in Art show \" href=\"http:\/\/www.lywam.org\/birds-in-art\" target=\"_blank\">Birds in Art&#8221; exhibition<\/a>. He was one of only 80 artists (from over 3500 entries) from around the world to be selected to tour for a year each.<\/p>\n<p>The <a title=\"Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum\" href=\"http:\/\/www.lywam.org\" target=\"_blank\"><strong>Leigh Yawkey Woodson Art Museum<\/strong><\/a> is located in <a title=\"Wisconsin \" href=\"http:\/\/www.travelwisconsin.com\" target=\"_blank\">Wisconsin. \u00a0<\/a>It is best known for its annual &#8220;Birds in Art&#8221; exhibition, which exhibits contemporary artistic representations of birds.
