Her <a href=\"http:\/\/www.redhillgallery.com.au\/RubyEaves2014.html\" target=\"_blank\">latest works <\/a>include a more contemporary take on the <a title=\"Outback of Australia\" href=\"http:\/\/australia.gov.au\/about-australia\/australian-story\/austn-desert-outback\" target=\"_blank\">Outback of Australia<\/a> after her trip to <a title=\"Lake Eyre\" href=\"http:\/\/www.environment.sa.gov.au\/parks\/Find_a_Park\/Browse_by_region\/Flinders_Ranges_and_Outback\/Kati_Thanda-Lake_Eyre_National_Park\" target=\"_blank\">Lake Eyre<\/a>. This trip inspired her to paint the lake in all its beauty.<\/p>\n<p>Ruby\u2019s beautiful watercolours are the result of her ability to capture the beauty and the spirit of her subjects. The emotion she feels when she views a subject is conveyed to the viewer in the scenes she paints, whether it be an outback landscape or the misty images of an early morning scene.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/RubyEaves03.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignnone size-full wp-image-2920\" src=\"http:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/RubyEaves03.jpg\" alt=\"Ruby Eaves\" width=\"760\" height=\"467\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/RubyEaves03.jpg 760w, https:\/\/www.artchat.com.au\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/RubyEaves03-300x184.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 760px) 100vw, 760px\" \/><\/a>After moving to Brisbane in 1986 she furthered her professional career in art and became a member of the <a title=\"Watercolour Society of Qld\" href=\"http:\/\/www.watercoloursocietyqld.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Watercolour Society of Qld<\/a> as well as the <a title=\"Royal Queensland Art Society\" href=\"http:\/\/www.rqas.com.au\/\" target=\"_blank\">Royal Queensland Art Society<\/a>. She has been a tutor in watercolours at these societies on many occasions.<\/p>\n<p>Throughout her career Ruby has participated in many exhibitions including solo and joint exhibitions as well as being a feature artist on many occasions. She has won many awards for all mediums, winning her first award at Orange Art Festival in 1982. Her works hang in many public and private collections in Australia and overseas.
